As colder weather is approaching but we want to assure you that it doesn’t have to change your decision to eat at Blu the restaurant.
We are committed to meeting and exceeding all the rules set by the CDC with social distancing sanitation stations, cleaning and disinfecting. We have wrapped our booths in Plexiglas and created Plexiglas barriers between free standing tables.
Blu has air purifiers installed with HEPA filtration which efficiently captures particles the size of (and far smaller than) the virus that causes COVID-19. Many patrons have asked whether air purifiers can help protect against infection. The answer is yes! The virus that causes COVID-19 is approximately 0.125 micron (125 nanometers) in diameter. It falls squarely within the particle-size range that HEPA filters capture with extraordinary efficiency: 0.01 micron (10 nanometers) and above.

We want to assure you that our staff is more vigilant than ever where guest safety is concerned, and we are diligently following the recommendations of local, state, and federal health authorities.
We have taken several precautionary steps beyond our customary, stringent practices including providing information and reinforcing best practices around proper hygiene and illness prevention with all staff. Hand sanitizer is readily available at high-touch points throughout the restaurant, and we have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection in all areas.
We take this responsibility very seriously and will continue to monitor expert recommendations and implement enhanced practices as necessary.
